So Dorian is from a BONKERS ASS canon and he is kind of the worst. As such, the following triggers may occur:

  • War & PTSD related to war: Dorian served in World War I. While he himself doesn't have PTSD, one story heavily features James Anderson, his commanding offer who has mad PTSD which manifests itself throughout the story. This will most likely not come up in-game, unless specifically talking about his past.

  • Suicide & driving someone to suicide: Due to his actions, Dorian's unintentionally driven multiple people to suicide, such as Sibyl Vane and Rosina Sawyer. This might come up in-game, but I'll check with players ahead of time before mentioning it. however feel free to call him out on his treatment of Sibyl Vane as that's featured in Picture of Dorian Gray which he can be fourth-walled on. Characters in CODG also have effectively committed suicide, most notably Tobias Matthews and Dorian himself, who kind of had a suicidal depressive fit for most of the 1990s. He also effectively committed suicide by stabbing his portrait (he got better, though).

  • Stalking: Dorian had a murderous stalker that one time. It wasn't fun and he will gladly complain about it. He also did a little light stalking himself, most notably of Tobias Matthews (his vampire boyfriend) but Toby also did a little light stalking of Dorian in return so it's okay I guess? Jesus Christ you two.

  • Sexual assault of a minor: Dorian was sexually assaulted at age sixteen by someone in a position of power (his old governess). He won't want to talk about it and I won't be bringing it up in casual conversation. It might come up with deep CR though.

  • Drug use: Dorian smokes, uses cocaine, uses opium, and has probably used every other recreational drug under the sun. Smoking and other heavy drug use are VERY LIKELY to come up in-game.

  • Dubious consent: In one audio, Dorian had sex with a woman while pretending to be her husband. This is super gross! He's also had sex with various people under various different aliases/him lying to them about his name & backstory. I will warn for it if it shows up.

  • Torture & murder: sweet fucking jesus he's killed a lot of people. With the first one, during the bodyswap episode (don't ask), Dorian tortured his own body to convince the person who was currently in his body to swap their bodies back. The torture probably won't come up in-game but the murder might. Likewise, feel free to call him out on his murder of Basil Hallward as that's featured in Picture of Dorian Gray which he can be fourth-walled on.

  • Demonic possession: Dorian's been possessed by demons & his cocaine might have been possessed by demons (don't ask). Highly likely to come up in tags as I find the cocaine story hilarious, but I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea

  • Memory loss: Due to reasons, Dorian does not remember most of the late 1970s and early 1980s. He canonically agreed to this memory loss but has zero memories of any events that occurred during that time.

  • Body horror & gore: THIS IS THE BIG ONE as being immortal means that there can be fun injuries. Specifically in canon, Dorian's had his heart ripped out from his body, was almost killed by his sentient appendix (don't ask), grew old in terrifyingly nasty detail, died via mustard gas, died via other ridiculous ways, regularly gets shot & stabbed, got set on fire a few times, and lived through an episode that was basically the Groundhog Day suicide montage (drowning, car accident, poison, electrocution, etc.). There is a high chance that this is going to come up in tags. If you're uncomfortable with body horror or gore related to a specific part of the body, please note it here. Other examples of body horror involve eye related trauma, the Jack the Ripper murders, and someone being literally torn apart by a group of people.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic: 'Isolation,' the audio that I occasionally use as Dorian's canonpoint, is set in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, around March 2020 when everybody is just starting to go into lockdown and things are starting to shut down. Later stages of the pandemic aren't mentioned and COVID-19 isn't mentioned by name, but it's a pretty blatant allegory so it's worth mentioning anyway.

  • Misc.: Dorian is an utter skeeveball and has participated in coercion, ignoring the ideas of others, enabling reckless behavior, etc. He's occasionally terribly provocative for the sake of being provocative. Dorian has also dealt with almost every supernatural thing under the sun including, but not limited to: werewolves, vampires, banshees, ghosts, meat monsters, golems, demons, gods, a sentient computer???, krakens, trolls, zombies, possession, etc.. If you have any sort of triggers with regards to a supernatural creature, please list them here.

With that being said, please respond to this post if you don't want me to tag you with Dorian! Alternatively, if one of the aspects in his backstory/personality bothers you, tell me and I won't bring it up ic (like, for example, if you're not comfortable with drug use, I won't bring it up in rp). Double alternatively, if you just want some clarification on something mentioned in the list of traits, then I'll explain it best I can here (ex: 'what happens in the eye trauma,' 'someone gets her eyes poked out.')
