The Porter and I must have had a disagreement I don't remember. I was displaced for this past weekend, and now the powers I've had for as long as I've been here are different. And one of them I thought you might have some experience with due to the sort of company you've been shown to keep. Seemed likely enough.

The control isn't working. [Vague much?] I don't really know how to explain it other than that. It works but it doesn't, and shadows don't seem to be interested in discussion of how to fix it.

Honestly? That explanation makes sense, but each power is different. [ now that is not lying. Shade had his powers for years, whereas Will just had his for what, a day? Also, porter given compared to...however the hell Shade got his. ]

I can't tell that much about yours just from that statement. A demonstration would be useful, just to see how you do it. I can work from there. [ and, he just plain wants to see this. ]
