[Abduxel is torn between his undying, intrusive, all-consuming curiosity and his want to get laid. I mean, did it work, was her lost soul freed or whatever? But Dorian seems so testy about it like it's souring his mood. Mayday, mayday, emergency shutdown. That arm still around Dorian, he rubs at his side to try to bring his mind back to Now, pausing in his indecision. Quick, make a joke!]

Well, you know what they say, no good deed goes unpunished. This is why it's probably better just to be a sinner through-and-through. Not that I'm biased.

[brushoff]

[ He can't help but smile a little at that. ] You, biased? I could hardly think it.

[abduxel]

[Yes, it's working]

Right. I'm the most objective person I've ever met.

[brushoff]

It's part of the perks of being a demon. That memory thing, shapeshifting, utter objectivity.

[abduxel]

[He laughs along, subdued. He reaches over with his other hand, fingers under Dorian's chin to lift it and angle it towards himself, like someone inspecting a prime specimen at a dog show or something.]

And don't forget good taste.

[brushoff]

[ Dorian doesn't move, letting Abduxel move and angle his head. ]

I think you mean excellent taste.

[ And then, without missing a beat, Dorian leans in, attempting to kiss the demon. ]

[abduxel]

[He allows the kiss, and reciprocates in kind. The hand under Dorian's chin slides around the back of his neck and up into his hair; the one around his torso tightens, pulling him in. Yep, let's make out in a bar, no problem.]

[brushoff]

[ trashy, trashy make outs. Dorian wraps a hand around Abduxel's torso as well, while his other hand braces itself against the man's thigh. And yeah, he's still making out. ]

[abduxel]

[ The waiter had been about to return to ask if they wanted more drinks, when he notices what's happening. He's like oh, awkward and just leaves instead.

Abduxel notices, but doesn't react. He's busy, here.

Two trashy, morally degenerate immortals, just getting to know each other. This was important. Everything else can wait.

The fingers in Dorian's hair clench into a fist, gripping him rather roughly as they kiss. ]

[brushoff]

[ Dorian also notices and also doesn't react. Good. He doesn't want any distractions right now, not when he has Abduxel close, not when he has the other immortal right where he wants him.

As Abduxel grips his hair, Dorian's hand on his thigh clenches, gripping tightly onto the demon as he forces himself closer to him. ]

[abduxel]

[ He reacts well to that grip on his thigh, upping the intensity of his kissing, running his hand along Dorian's back.

After some time, Abduxel breaks the kiss, using his grip on Dorian's hair to pull the other man's head away just a few centimeters. Breathy and with a sly little grin, ]

Maybe we should go back to your place.

[brushoff]

Considering that I have an apartment all to myself now? I think we should. I can show you around the place and we can give some objects a test drive.

[abduxel]

[Before Dorian's finished speaking, Abduxel is tossing some crumpled bills in the table, uncounted and almost certainly excessive. As they hopefully exit the booth, he replies with a suggestive tone.]

Some objects? What do you mean?

[brushoff]

My new couch.

[ LET'S GO FUCK ON A COUCH, ABDUXEL. ] Or, a new mattress if that's more your style.

[abduxel]

[He barks a laugh, grabs Dorian by the hand to lead him out the door.]

We'll just have to try them both.

[brushoff]

I eagerly await tonight. [ as he responded with a grin and a laugh of his own ]

[abduxel]

[As they go outside, he pulls Dorian to himself by the hand, in order to kiss him again just outside the bar.]

Where do you live?

[brushoff]

Just moved to a small apartment in Maurtia Falls. It's small for my taste, but I'm fond of it.

[They're already in Maurtia Falls, perfect. He hails a cab, climbs inside. Makes idle smalltalk with the cabby (how about that weather today!) while he covertly slides a hand onto Dorian's knee and drifts it upwards, teasing. Gives his thigh a little squeeze.]

[ Dorian can't help but smirk as Abduxel moves his hand towards his thigh. He snuggles in closer towards the demon, taking no notice of the cabby's stares or Abduxel's attempt at small talk as he cozies up to the demon and kisses him on the neck. ]

[Way to be subtle, Dorian. He'd wanted to try to make the man squirm, but it was flipped around on him, as Dorian kisses his neck while Abduxel was mid-sentence, causing him to lose his train of thought and awkwardly stammer the rest of it while intensely distracted.

God they'd better get there soon.]

[ Thankfully, Dorian's apartment isn't too far from the bar so, to the relief of the cab driver, it's a relatively short trip. That doesn't stop Dorian from being like the world's least subtle during the whole trip there. As the cab pulls off, Dorian starts to rummage through his pockets. ]

Fuck, hold on a second, I just need to find my key.

[ which, because he wants to find it, turns out to be in the last pocket he looked in. ] Follow me. My apartment's just up these stairs.

[abduxel]

[He "helps" Dorian find his keys by standing behind him with his hands gripping Dorian's hips, kissing an ear while Dorian searches. And then he follows him upstairs. This is gonna be a good night.]

[brushoff]

Isn't it, though? It's the government apartments—unsurprisingly, I didn't want to give up my free ride just yet. [ As he opens the door, he gestures for Abduxel to enter.

The apartment is barely furnished, with a couch and some chairs. There are still some unpacked boxes lying around, as well as a ton of lamps and mirrors. Almost instantly, Dorian grabbed onto Abduxel's hand and, after closing the door behind them, started dragging the demon to the couch.

Patience was a virtue that Dorian didn't really have. ]

[Abduxel laughs as he's dragged along, but as they near the couch, he suddenly resists. This might be about when Dorian notices that Abduxel is very, very strong, inhumanly so. He pulls Dorian by the hand so that the man would face him, and then pushes him backwards, so he'll land sitting on the couch.

He puts his hands on Dorian's shoulders to hold him there, leans in real close with a sly little smile.] I like your couch.
