Tell me something I don't know, [ Dorian murmured, letting Abduxel kiss him as he lay against the bed. ]

[After the kiss, he droops his head against Dorian's neck.]

If you heal so quickly, how is it that someone managed to murder you, anyway?

My portrait, [ Dorian remarked, looking up at Abduxel. ] If you destroy my portrait, it destroys me.

Hm, that's a shame.

[ Dorian calls bullshit ]

I slit your neck and you practically died. You've got a weak spot somewhere in that attractive demon physiology.

[He props himself up on his arms over Dorian, smirking in part because of that ' attractive ' comment.]

But I'm here, aren't I? I just needed a little nap.

Keep telling yourself that, [ said with a little smirk. ] God knows what'll happen once you meet someone smart or callous enough to actually use holy water on you.

[He makes a little scoff noise. Tries to pretend that's a silly idea.]

Holy water? Please. I'd be more worried about ruining my suit.

[brushoff]

[ Dorian...does not buy into that at all. because Abduxel's got to have a weakness, and if it isn't holy water, then it's gotta be something else. ]

All I'm saying is that you lucked out picking someone who's not religious.

[abduxel]

It's not a coincidence that I chose someone with a one-way ticket pre-booked to Hell, Dorian. I can't stand religious people. Can you?

[He sits up on him now, casually running his hands along his torso as they talk.]

[brushoff]

[ Dorian made a face, scrunching up his nose as Abduxel talked. ]

I can't either. They're entirely too sanctimonious.

[abduxel]

And so self-righteous, so smugly repentant. I like the way you are entirely unapologetic for your selfishness and vanity.

[He runs his nails down Dorian's chest to punctuate what he's saying.]

[ Dorian can't help but grin as Abduxel runs the nail down his chest. There's still traces of blood there, spots that Dorian simply didn't clean or said that he'd clean later after taking care of the bloody mess on the floor. ]

Why should I apologize? I am what I am, and if you don't like it then tough.
