It's the honest truth! I made an idle wish, that I would never grow old and my portrait would take on any signs of age instead. And then a month or so later, I noticed that it did. It was only until after that when I learned the specifics of what I gave up in order to gain that wish. I didn't make a plan or plot things out or anything like that.
