She won a talent competition back home—X Factor, I think? One of those, they're all the same damn show. Dumpy woman, terribly middle of the road, but she had a phenomenal singing voice. And she got famous for singing that song.

You should bother Jonathan Sims in the library once it's all put together again. One, he's a dear friend of mine. Two, he can help you find an album of hers.

Covers are never as good.

You can't really apply covers to musical theater, can you? I mean, if you go to see a live performance, that's technically a cover.

No, no-- that's totally different. A live theater performance isn't the same as American Idol! Or-- British Idol, X-Factor, whatever.

How? Just because there's not a stage? It's still performing.

It's different! It's a different style. Musical theater versus, like-- like, like pop music.

If you're singing a musical theater song, you're doing musical theater. I don't see what the distinction is.
