Hey. Just wanted to touch base with you about Trixie.

There was an Inmate filtered post that went up a few days ago, and it looked like things were getting a bit heated between her and Sephiroth.

Another Inmate intervened, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that it’s probably best if they’re not around each other.

Define 'a bit heated.' Because with Trixie, if she calls you a motherless cocksucker who doesn't know his head from his ass, she means it with love.

Also, out of idle curiosity, who snitched about the post?

I mean, he basically gave her an open invitation to come fight him since she disliked him so much, and it looked like she was going to take him up on it. Which I probably don’t need to tell you, would not have ended well for her.

Somebody I don’t even know, actually. But I asked Yunlan if Shen Wei would mind letting us have a look at the post, and he let us see it.

[ There's a pause as Dorian thinks things over before he admits, ]

I'm going to say something that makes me sound like an absolute bastard. But if that happens again, let her fight him and lose.

[ A pause. ]

You mind explaining why? Because I can’t exactly promise that Sephiroth wouldn’t kill her in a scenario like that.

Trixie is a darling. I love her so much. She's wonderful and talented and thinks far too little of herself. She also has literally no impulse control and a nasty tendency to pick fights and double down instead of walking away. Obviously I'd like to help her find some of that impulse control before she does something stupid that gets herself hurt—again. But sometimes, you have to keep doing the same stupid thing over and over again in order to realize how fruitless it is.

[ Another pause. Then- ]

If something happens where I can see it, I'll let her fight and lose. But I won't let her die.

[ There's a pause before Dorian nods. ]

Understood. That works for me. I'll mention something about this on her inmate ledger so that the others know about it as well. [ Another pause before, ] Assuming people actually read the damn thing.

I honestly think it’s a great resource so I hope a lot of Wardens make use of it.

I think it's a useful resource as well. Which is why it wouldn't surprise me if you told me that a lot of wardens don't use them.
