Dorian nods before going to sit down on the couch. He turns to look at Pagan, just taking in the man's presence, kind of staring at him like a creep before he sighs.

Fuck. He's going to really miss this man.

Pagan hums softly as he makes the tea. There's a laptop on the table, paused on an episode of Kitchn Nightmares, mostly because he doesn't actually have a television.

He comes to sit with Dorian, as close as he can, and hands him a cup while another arm goes around his shoulders.

Dorian, nosy bitch that he is, looks over at the laptop while Pagan's making the tea. As Pagan sits next to him, Dorian leans against him, enjoying the comfort while he can.

"All the more reason for you to visit me: I've got a decent sized television. I never got the hang of watching something on a small screen. Humanity's progressed past tiny little screens with absolutely shit reception."

"I need to find a way to hide a television," he comments lightly, crossing his legs comfortably. "It ruins the whole aesthetic here. And Kyrat never had anything good on. I didn't like being on television, I didn't like sitting in front of the television."

"Do you have any rooms you can rework into a game room?" he muses. "Granted, the entire concept of a game room is annoyingly heterosexual male, but with the right touches, I'm sure it can be translated to something with the slightest bit of class."

"Mm, Kyrat's palace isn't mine anymore. Not for long, I mean. But my home on my island? Now that is something I can work with."

He drinks his tea, keeping an arm around Dorian.

"And if there is one thing I adore, it is interior design."

"All the more reason for you to go to my place," he muses. "It's all...quite cluttered at the moment. I need one of those awful home shows to come in and Marie Kondo the hell out of my horde."

"Yes, but I'd like to keep away from monsters and terrible supernatural creatures," he points out.

"I'm a terrible supernatural creature," Dorian rebuts like it's the most obvious thing ever.

"That is true," he says without clarification, gently running his fingers through Dorian's hair. "And so, you are likely the most annoying of them all."

"I can admit to that," he chuckles. "I know I'm a pain. Might as well live up to it."

"Ah yes, yes. You are too old and set in your ways. I see."

He says it quote fondly, though.

"What can I say, I'm an old fart," he grins, cuddling up next to Pagan.

He turns, pressing a kiss to his temple before settling in. "Well, you're an old fart who will watch this show with me, drink some tea, and then I'll fuck you senseless. How's that sound?"

And he casually sits forward to flip on the laptop again and start the show.

"I think I'll be fine with that," he says, with a smile. "One last little attempt at normalcy for the two of us."

"It isn't an attempt," he promises, starting the show. "It is normal. As long as you promise to at least stay the night."

"I will," Dorian responds, with no hesitation. "For the rest of the night, I'm all yours."

He'll take it. It's meager and not what he wants, but he still cuddles in close to him, finishing his tea and pulling him close to hold him tightly.

They watch the tv show in silence for a bit. But not too long after, Dorian leans in lightly hold Pagan's chin. He gently moves the man's face towards him so he can give him a gentle yet passionate kiss on the lips.

He happily succumbs to the kiss, placing his hands on his hips. "I'm glad you're here," he tells him in a soft whisper.

"You'll always have a place in my world," Dorian quietly continues, moving a hand down to Pagan's thigh. He gives it a little squeeze before giving the man a small, gentle, tentative smile.

"I know you might not want it. But it'll always be there."

It's a nice little dream, he knows. "Perhaps that is a dream I can indulge tonight," he tells him, sliding off of the couch and standing up, reaching out a hand to him. "Come on. Let's get somewhere more comfortable."

"The bedroom it is," Dorian muses, as he slides off the couch as well. "Lead the way, love."

He takes his hand, gently guiding him towards the bedroom so he can pull him down onto it. He needs to kiss him properly again.

While on the bed, Dorian hooks a leg around Pagan, holding the man close to him as he ruffles his hair and goes in for another proper kiss. He needs this. He wants this. He'll miss this so damn much and he wants to go ahead and enjoy it as long as possible.
