I eat plenty of citrus. I don't get it at home and you people throw it around like it's nothing.

[And a few moments later, he's banging on his door.]

[ He opens the door and gestures Johann to enter. ]

You know that the citrus doesn't count if it's in a mixed drink.

[He walks in and heads for his kitchen, immediately taking stock.]

[He does find an orange and sets about peeling it.]

Doesn't count, [ Dorian happily chirps. ] You've got to eat it as well.

[He throws a peel at him.]

Alright. What do I need to do to get my magic back?

[brushoff]

Hang out with me each week. We can meet up either at my place or the Enclosure, doesn't matter, but I want some quality Johann time. No Florian, no Pagan, just the two of us.

[monsterjohann]

[He laughs, then realizes he's serious.]

[brushoff]

[ grins! ]

Seriously, you don't have to do much. I've been proud of you lately. The only time you backslid was during a flood and that only partially counts. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll graduate before you know it.

[ Granted, there's still a WHOLE bundle of issues to work through. But gotta give the kid his props! Plus, Dorian's idly a bit curious as to how Johann would react to a statement like that. ]

And when I got here, the Admiral took it all away. And it's Florian's magic! The least he could have fucking done is given me the same restrictions he gave Florian!

[brushoff]

Out of curiosity, what restrictions did he give Florian?

Those seem like good limitations for you as well, [ he shrugs. ] Nothing outwardly harmful, consent needed...we can talk more as you get better at your magic, but it's no use saying 'Johann can't blow up the Barge' if you can't even do that to begin with.

[monsterjohann]

I want to use it on myself. Not anyone else. Ger stronger so I can throw you off a building next time we go to the Enclosure.

[He cackles.]

[brushoff]

Throw me off a building and I'm taking you down with me, [ he grins. ]

[monsterjohann]

[He waggles his eyebrows and then throws another peel at him.]

[brushoff]

[ Dorian catches that peel...and then immediately throws it back at Johann. ]

Pinky swear. It's a promise.

[monsterjohann]

[He dodges it and lets it fall to the floor.

Tell me when it's done and I can show off all I can do.

[brushoff]

Then get the hell out of my room so I can bother the Admiral! [ he laughs. ]

[He stands up and, laughing, makes a stop in his kitchen for another orange on his way out.]
