I don’t make an ass of myself pretending I want to be helpful and then do the exact opposite.
So you can deflect all you like, but I’m not making anyone else’s job harder. Or actively sabotaging Inmates’ chances at graduating - even the ones I dislike - just to satisfy my pettiness.

In that case? You picked the wrong job. Not just because of me, but because of the fact that we're a ship full of problem children on both sides, faced with potential trauma like clockwork. The Barge's existence is antithetical to the idea of fresh, clean grass with no interruptions and no problems.
And as touched as I am that you’re concerned for my welfare, I assure you - I can and will continue to handle this job until I have all the deals I need.
